Riley Green is the newest country star in town. He has recorded many hit songs since his debut in 2017 and his style of music has also been praised by different publication. He will soon perform at the CRS New Faces of Country Music Show. Moreover, Green is going to join Jason Aldean on tour as a supporting act and will be trekking through many cities. Discovering His Love for Country Music

Born in Jacksonville, Alabama, Riley Green has his grandfather, Bufford Green to thank for introducing him to country music. Spending his childhood years with his grandpa, he would teach Green to play gospel, bluegrass and old traditional country music which then ignited a passion in him for the genre. He soon started to jam with his granddad and was often seen performing at the Golden Saw Music Hall, singing the tunes of Roy Acuff like, Precious Jewel and Wreck on the Highway.

After developing his singing voice, Riley Green began to write songs and penned down a track, My Best Friend which he wrote as a tribute to Bufford Green and for the influence he had on his life and music. Apart from music, he is also passionate about fishing and even wrote a song about it called, Line in the Water.

Following His Passion

Riley Green started to pursue country music full-time during the early 2010s and issued his first eponymous extended play in 2013. He then came out with his second EP, 'Bury Me In Dixie' which was composed of catchy songs like, Can't Write A Love Song, Trouble With You and Whiskey Wears Off. He then followed it up by dropping a couple more extended plays, 'Country Line' and 'Outlaws Like Us' which hit the markets in 2016 and 2017 respectively. The former reached at the fifth spot on the Top Heatseekers Chart. A year later, Green another EP, 'In A Truck Right Now' before getting signed to Big Machine Label Group.

Different 'Round Here  

In 2018, Riley Green dropped his first single, There Was This Girl and revealed to the fans that he is working on his debut studio album. The song became a number-one hit in Canada. He then put out two more singles, In Love By Now and I Wish Grandpas Never Died in 2019. On September 20^th, Green released his much-anticipated record, 'Different 'Round Here' which landed at the eleventh spot on the Top Country Albums chart.

On Tour

He is now scheduled to hit the road with Jason Aldean and will be performing his first show in Colombia on January 30, 2019. From there, Green will visit many cities including, Orlando, Jacksonville and Omaha. Book Riley Green tickets at the earliest.
