Band of Horses Tickets

Band of Horses is going to rock the Southern Ground Music and Food Festival's stage on the 19^th of October. The band will be performing on the night where many other acts are scheduled to perform too. These include Zac Brown Band, Willie Nelson & Family and The Head and the Heart. The Band of Horses tickets are now available and selling fast. Southern Ground Music and Food Festival is an annual event which is in its third year now. Band of Horses is an indie rock band belonging to Charleston. It has released four studio albums till day. It was founded by Ben Bridwell in 2004, after he left Carissa Weird, his former band. Band of Horses received Sub Pop's attention when they opened for the band Iron & White, in Seattle. This was followed by the release of their Tour EP, which managed to sell out at Sub Pop's website as well as in shows.

Band of Horses released their debut studio album titled "Everything All the Time" in March of 2006. It took them a year to complete the record. The album features the original four piece lineup of the band. It also features different versions of five songs that were already released in the Tour EP. The album was a hit in Scandinavia. Ben explained that initially the plan was to release an album with ELO-sounds, including keyboards and strings, but as the work proceeded, it naturally turned out to be rawer in form. The raw sound of the songs was actually appreciated.

Band of Horses' studio album's first song, The Funeral also featured in several advertisements, television series, video games as well as films. In 2006, the band also performed the same song on the TV show, Late Show with David Letterman. After that, they moved to South Carolina and started working on their second studio album. They were touring a lot in those years and had no real home. Before releasing the album "Cease to Begin," the band toured again in 2007, this time going to North America and Europe.

Band of Horses' second album produced their very first US hit that reached number thirty five on the Billboard 200. The album was also a hit in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and France. It was announced by their producer, Phil Ek in May of 2009, that the band is working on the third album "Infinite arms" in South Carolina. The album was released worldwide in May of 2010. This was followed by the band's appearance in the television series of BBC "Later. with Jools Holland." They promoted their new album in the show by performing Factory, Compliments and NW Apt. This appearance led to the band's earlier albums' entry in the UK Albums chart as well.

The lead song Knock Knock from the band's latest album, "Mirage Rock" was released in July, 2012. This was followed by the release of the record on the 18^th of September. It was yet another big hit.
