He reached even greater heights of success with his next two albums 'Ambition' and 'The Gifted'. Ambition which was released in 2011 topped the US Rap and US R&B Music charts and sold 600,000 copies across the country. The Gifted on the other hand became even more popular and peaked at the US Rap, US R&B and US Music charts and also came at the 10^th position on Canadian Music charts.

In the honor of his contributions to the music industry, Wale has received many prominent awards up till now. He won the BET Award for "Best Collaboration" in 2012 for 'Lotus Flower Bomb', the BET Hip Hop Award for "Best Club Banger" for 'No Hands' in 2011 and a Soul Train Award for "Best New Artist in the year 2010. The talented artist has also received a Grammy Award nomination for 'Lotus Flower Bomb' as the "Best Rap Song" in 2013.
