The Blood Brothers are one of the most dynamic and robust hard-core bands from the last decade. The Blood Brothers have introduced a solemn commitment to the music world and have left behind a legacy that will be remembered for many years to come. The Blood Brothers sensational rock band spans over 10 years and produced several most memorable songs.
The group originates from the Eastern side of Seattle, Washington and is proud to be one of the few and most and most revered bands from this particular part of the state. The band started in the year 1997 and officially broke off in November 2007.
Interestingly enough, the band members already knew each other since childhood and had been playing music together since they were only 15 years old. The band comprised of Jordan Blilie and Johnny Whitney as the lead vocalists and Mark Gajadhar was the key and promising drummer. Later on, Devon Welch and Morgan Henderson joined the group. Devon Welch was a budding guitarist whereas Morgan Henderson was a well-known and reputable bassist. Morgan Henderson has been one of the most loved and enjoyed musicians of his era. People have been simply fascinated by his skill set of playing different instruments and how he possessed the charm to diverge and amalgamate different tunes into their songs.
Though Johnny Whitney would be remembered for his participation and role in building and expanding the horizons of this group, he is also remembered among the music lovers as a very successful businessman. He and his wife have opened up a very booming apparel company called Crystal city clothing. Johnny Whitney has also become a known celebrity in the vegan world since he is an astute vegan and practices in his daily life. One thing that the group had common was the desire to surpass their own desires and commitments. The group was young and aspired to be one of the greatest bands that ever came from the Eastern side of United States of America.
One of the most peculiar aspects of the music of Blood Brothers was that that they were extremely diverse. Very unlike their counterparts, the band has been able to produce hard-core, indie rock, post-punk and metal core music. Some of their musical works have been on the principles of math core and art punk rock. The band has had an image of being one of the most diverse bands of the era and has a celebrated fan club that had enjoyed their diversification and talent. Very few bands were able to produce music and songs that have been successful in all of these avenues.
Another ingredient that has been proclaimed as the sole reason behind their magnanimous success has been the particular voice duo of Johnny Whitney and Jordan Blilie. Both of them have been extremely powerful in utilizing their vocal cords and maintaining a very dynamic pattern of pitch and sound. The vocalists have been able to produce post hard-core style vocals as well as produce rapid tones associated with nonstandard techniques. The voices could change from a screaming sound to a more robust and ecstatic pitch depending upon the lyrics and the music playing in the background. Their favorite song and album "Crimes" is a testament to the dynamic and robust vocal credentials of the group. The energy of the drums can also be appreciated as the album reaches its crescendo. Over the course of 10 years, the music as well as the lyrics has all drastically changed. Some of the most known critics of music history have stated that the pitch and sounds of the vocalist have also gone through drastic changes.
Most of their friends and fans have appreciated their last album entitled "Young Machetes" as the most successful. The second-best in celebrated album is "march on electric children "that was the released in 2002. The band also produced several other albums. Namely "this adultery is ripe" in 2000 and "burn, piano island, burn" in 2003. This album that was released in 2003 really tested the magnitude of the bands diversity. The music, lyrics, sound and the overall methodology of playing music changed immensely. This was the first time that the fan club really got an esthetic sense of the diverse lyrics and musical instruments that could be produced. The band though believes that their single "ambulance vs. ambulance" that was released in 2003 really gave them the international recognition. The lyrics took them to the European Community. "Love rhymes with hideous car wreck" is another smash hit.
