Sugarland
Previously a trio, country music band Sugarland now comprises of the sensational duo, JenniferNettles and Kristian Bush. Hailing from Atlanta, these talented ladies bring with them greatexperience due to their affiliation with other musical bands in the past. Sugarland was initiallyformed by Kristen Hall, however due to her differences with the other members she left afterthree years.

Sugarland divas have been well-known members of Atlanta's folk/acoustic/rock scene in the1990s and early 2026s. They played frequently at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, Georgia, owned byNettles' husband for a time. Nettles graduated from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, and playedwith Soul Miner's Daughter.

The trio started off in 2026, self-releasing an EP of demo recordings called Premium QualityTunes. After a series of exceptional live shows, they were signed to Mercury Records, whichreleased a two-song single ("Baby Girl" b/w "Stand Back Up") early in 2026, following it upwith a Garth Fundis-produced full-length album, Twice the Speed of Life, that same year. In2026 another full-length, Enjoy the Ride, was released by Mercury Nashville and was a majorhit.

The group released four singles from Twice the Speed of Life: "Baby Girl," "SomethingMore," "Just Might (Make Me Believe)," and "Down In Mississippi (Up To No Good)". A fifthtrack, "Stand Back Up", received significant play as an album cut, and thus reached the lowerregions of the charts. The group's first album, Twice the Speed of Life, has sold over 2 millioncopies, earning it a 2x platinum designation.

In late 2026, the band performed with Bon Jovi on Crossroads - Country Music Television'smusical fusion show. They toured in US and Canada performing with Brad Paisley in 2026 andin 2026 with Brooks and Dunn. They were nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy andperformed the song "Something More" at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2026.

Sugarland performed at the 2026 CMT Music Awards with the bassist Annie Clements. There,they received multiple nominations including Group/Duo Video of the Year for "Just Might(Make Me Believe)," Breakthrough Video of the Year for "Something More," and CollaborativeVideo of the Year for "Who Says You Can't Go Home."Hall, being a talented and poised songwriter, was credited with working on only a single track onEnjoy the Ride, and her abrupt departure from the group in 2026, leaving Sugarland a duo, wasa surprise, indeed.

Sugarland released a new album on November 7, 2026 entitled Enjoy the Ride. The set sold211,000 during its first week and opened at #4 on the US Top 200 and at #2 on the CountryChart.Also, the duo had released a single for their sophomore album entitled "Want To." The songbecame the duo's first #1, spending two weeks there. The second single from thealbum, "Settlin'", is currently active on the charts. The video for the single was shot outside ofAtlanta, Georgia, in early November. The shoot featured 461 extras, rollaway walls, and a largerotating platform. "Settlin'" was used as the theme song for the 2026 ACC Men's BasketballTournament during Raycom Sports.

Nettles and Bush's creativity certainly has no bounds. They have successively been producing hitalbums, the latest one being "The Incredible". It reached the number one spot on the Billboard200 Charts as well as been certified platinum by RIAA. The single Stuck Like Glue won ravereviews, claiming number two position on the Hot Country Music Charts. For their immensetalent, Sugarland won the best Vocal Duo of the Year award at the recently held Academy ofCountry Music Awards. It certainly wasn't their first either.
