Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road Ensemble is lead by the renowned American cellist, known as one of the greatest players of the cello. A virtuoso, he has been active since 1961 and has released music via labels such as Sony Classical, CBS and RCA. He has received many Grammy Awards as well as highly coveted honors such as the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Medal of Arts.
