Ryan Adams is an alternative rock and country music singer and songwriter belonging to Jacksonville, North Carolina. In 2009, over his fan page website, Ryan Adams shared the news of the possibility of the reunion of Whiskeytown. He also shared the news of releasing many of his unreleased tracks. Adams that same year, release a song online named "Happy Birthday". In the start of 2010, Adams announced that he is going to release a metal influenced album named "Orion" with new label PAX AM. In the summer of the same year, the album was received, and was well received by his fans. In the fall of 2010, he performed in a live concert after a long time. In the December he released his unfinished album from 2006, The Cardinals III/IV.
Ryan Adams went on a European Tour and with Glyn Johns, started working on a new album too. In September of 2011, the album named "Ashes & Fire" was released.
