New Orford String Quartet was formed in Canada forty five years ago as Jeunesses-Musicales du Canada summer camp at Orford Art Center. Andrew Wan is a musician, concertmaster and soloist violinist. Crow was titled as Montreal Symphony Orchestra's Concertmaster in August of 2008. He has performed as soloist for a number of orchestras in Montreal, Julliard, Toronto and Aspen. He has also performed extensively all across the globe and continues to be a part of New Orford String Quartet.
Erick Nowlin of New Orford String Quartet won second prize in Walter W. Naumburg competition 2006. He s the violist for the quartet and has performed in the United States as well as all across the globe extensively. His past accomplishments also include Irving Klein International String Competition's first position. Brian Manker is Montreal Symphony Orchestra's Principal Cellist. He has been a teacher as well as performer during his career and has performed across North America as well as in several other countries. He continues to be a part of New Orford String Quartet.
