In 2003, Lil Boosie was approached by Pimp C and Webbie, with whom he recorded the album, "Ghetto Stories". Selling more than 120,000 copies, the album received critical acclaim as well as commercial success. In 2004, Boosie released another smashing hit album, "Trill Azz Mixtape", in collaboration with Webbie. Featuring some of the hit songs, the album was very well received by the audience. This encouraged the duo to release their second mixed album, "Gangsta Musik", which also did not fail to impress the fans. Outshining many other contemporaries, Boosie's undeniable talent caught the attention of many universal groups. His popularity led to Lil Boosie releasing the album, "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" with South Coast Coalition.
Lil Boosie then went on to release the "Bass Ass Mixtape Vol. 1" in 2006. During the same year, he released another major album, "Bad Azz". The single Zoom, from this album, featuring the talented artist Yung Joc, specifically gained a lot of acclaim. Centered on the death of his father, the album gained a lot of prominence in the music industry. The next year, the artist produced a "Bad Azz Mixtapes Vol. 2", "Survival of the Fittest" as well as "Da Beginning Mixtape". Till 2010, he released back to back singles and compilation albums. In 2010, his fourth studio album, "Incarcerated" was released through Asylum Records.
