Latin Kings Of Comedy
The Original Latin Kings of Comedy is a well known 2002 stand-up comedy film. The director of this film was Jeb Brien. It starred: Joey Medina, Alex Reymundo, George Lopez, Cheech Marin, and Paul Rodr?guez.

The Original Latin Kings of Comedy was filmed at the Abraham Chavez Theater in El Paso, Texas. This film was originally released in the USA. The main subject of the jokes is the Mexican way of life. Obviously, this included some oddities, such as the fact that Mexican people dont teach their children about like sex.

The show commences with a recording of low rider cars that are embellished with the common Cholo themes. These comprise large paintings of The Virgin Mary and extremely detailed wall painting. These images are painted in the hoods and roofs of the car.

Marin commences with a light joke that introduces the first big comedian of the night: Joey Medina. Medina walks on stage, greets the audience and begins his presentation of oddities of El Paso.

Apart from the lack of sex education for children, he talks about the children who sell chewing-gum, and how you can drink through the night in Mexico with just 5 Dollars.

The following subject that Medina switches to is the races; he compares what positive and negative things they do. At the end, he jokes about Men and Women. As Joey Medina walks off stage, Cheech Marin appears again with some jokes to immediately introduce Alex Raymundo.

Raymundo's first subject centers around couples and genders, and he also highlights the differences in their performance in society. He carries on talking about the typical Mexican father as well as about the Mexicans being lazy.

Then, Alex Raymundo walked off stage amid cheers by the audience, and Marin walked on stage again to carry on with his simple jokes. He then introduced the third comedian of the night: George Lopez.

Lopez started by pretending that he was using a microphone with translator. When he spoke in English it seemed polite, but when he spoke in Spanish he was cursing Americans. His main theme was the Mexicans families and their friend circles. George Lopez was one of the most applauded comedians.

As Cheech Marin walked for a final time on stage, he carries on with his jokes and introduces the chief of the show: Paul Rodriguez.

Paul Rodriguezs jokes were about the weather in El Paso, and he later compared it with Chicago. He then narrowed it all down to how it mainly affects Men. He then goes on to joke about his family of 12 brothers and sisters including their parents. The final line was when her mom asked if it hurt. Paul ended the show with that and the audience stood to cheer him.

The Original Kings of Comedy is a 2000 successful stand-up comedy film that has been well directed by Spike Lee. It has Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, and Bernie Mac in with their comedy skills that enthrall the audience.

The beauty of this show is that the audience has been able to enjoy it being filmed live in Charlotte, North Carolina. With their charm, they present the audience their views on African American race relations, church, culture, and families.

The film was filmed over two nights (February 26 and February 27, 2000) at the Kings of Comedy tour. The on-stage routines are intercut with short partitions of video footage. This footage shows the comedians backstage, and focuses on how they promote the show on the radio, during a basketball game, and at the hotel.

Steve Harvey, who is the star of The Steve Harvey Show, is the MC or host for the show. As opposed to his sitcom character, Harvey's on-stage acts use a considerable amount of profanity.

Harvey's first approach encompasses Carolina Panthers football star Rae Carruth. He also expresses his dislike for the movie Titanic.

Harvey's second approach goes the differences between hip hop/rap music and the old school soul music and funk. He overviews artists like Earth Wind & Fire, the Ohio Players, The Temptations, and Lenny Williams.
