He has all the blended qualities that one wishes to see in a person to know him better. Eric San, who works mainly under the name Kid Koala is a Montreal, Quebec based DJ and is also member of jam band and alternative hip hop super group. Kid Koala has to its credit as appearing along with many other artists and has made contributions to numerous projects altogether.

Eric San after graduating went on to study elementary education at McGill University. He is well known for his enigmatic style of music which further is seen by the use of unusual collection of samples.

He has been known to use samples of music television specials, old comedy sketch, people sneezing, and people reading a menu in Cantonese. He is well known for his cheerful manner at the concerts and above all having a good sense of humor which is not quite seen in many people working as most of them just focus on maintaining their image as a singer or an actor or be it any other profession for that matter.

But with Eric San the story is different. Even though he works as an illustrator and an artist as well, he surely works in harmony with his humor. And it is this quality within the chap that makes him so unique from others working in the same field as him.

Being an illustrator and an artist, San having designed all of his own album covers also drew a comic book. He also has to his credit of releasing a full length graphic novel which includes a soundtrack that he composed.

During the time that Kid Koala worked, he also happened to tour extensively to places for the promotion of his work and building new fans in the making. Following his tours Kid Koala has performed DJ sets all over Asia, discovering new fans in various destinations and also got the time on working on a new book.

San also has to his credit of maintaining a popularized method of playing the turntable like a melodic instrument, where a long, single note is dragged under the needle at different speeds, creating different pitches. Since this method of adjusting pitch is imprecise, the resulting notes waver and bend, but nevertheless come out to be a good creation.

There is no doubting the fact that success and failure go hand in hand. At times you are lucky and at times luck does not favor you. So for this reason, Kid Koala had a strong professional backing that saved him most of the time. San was backed up by his counter part DJ Jester on the tour and live gigs featured turntablism, comedy, animations, and bingo.

With great power came in great responsibility to not just practice new things himself but the dual of job of having new things for the people as well as maintaining the previous. Just like the late 90s the new millennium was also considered mostly as favoring him towards his career successfully.

One needs to take responsibility towards utilizing positive energy towards striving for perfection. And hats off to the man for taking his work towards perfection and letting the fame graph go up.
