Jesse McCartney is a spectacular American artist from Ardsley, New York who has been active in the word of music since 1998. He has gone on to dominate the pop and R&B music scene, even going so far as to play pop rock. He is a singer, a songwriter and an actor, who has not  only played roles in a large number of movies but has also voiced some of the most memorable characters in animated movies. Jesse McCartney grew up in Westchester, New York and began playing music at a young age, starting with performing in musicals while seven years old. At the age of ten, he joined The King and I's national tour, alongside Ricky Ullman, best known as the star of Phil of the Future. He played the role of Louis marvelously, as shown by the rave reviews from critics and appreciation by those who saw the musicals live. He entered into the world of music in 1998 when he sang with the Sugar Beats, singing on three of their albums, which were then released n 1998, 1999 and 2000.

In 1999, Jesse McCartney  joined his first boy band, Dream Street, with which he recorded and performed music until 2002. With the band, he released a gold certified album and then kicked off a solo career backed by a band then made up of guitarist  Dillon Kondor, bassist Peter Chema, keyboardist Katie Spencer, drummer Alex Russeku and vocalists Karina LaGravinese and Sharisse Francisco. He released an  EP in 2003, which contained three marvelous songs. In 2004, he sang a song for the soundtrack of Ella Enchanted with the famous actress, Anne Hathaway.

His first album was released in 2004 and labeled Beatiful Soul. It ranked high on the Billboard 200 chart and was soon certified platinum after having sold more than a massive one million copies. The album would go on to sell more than one and a half million copies by 2006, and continues to sell more as each day passes. He became one of the first artists to win  several awards at the Teen Choice Awards, including those for the Breakout Artist, Crossover Artist and Male Artist. He also won the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards' Favorite Male Singer award.

He kicked off his first tour in 2005, visiting many American cities, as well as visiting cities in Australia, Europe and performing with the Backstreet Boys. In 2006, he released the album, Right Where You Want Me, which ranked fourteenth on the Billoard 200. He would go on to contribute music to many Disney movies and shows, including Disneymania 2, A Cinderella Story, Radio Disney Jingle Jams, That's So Raven, Lizzie McGuire Total Party!, Stuck in the Suburbs, Disneymania 3, Radio Disney Jams, Sydney White, Vol. 7, Vol. 8, Radio Disney Jams, DisneyMania 4 and Hannah Montana.

In 2008, he released his third album, dubbed Departure, which ranked tenth on the Billboard Hot 100, with one of its songs certified platinum and selling more than two million copies on iTunes. He is set to released a new album soon, songs from which are set  to be played at concerts, viewed easily with Jesse McCartney tickets in hand.
