James Naughton was born in December 1945 to Rosemary and Joseph Naughton. His parents were associated with the education sector. He attended the Conard High School and completed his graduation from Yale Drama School and Brown University. He started his acting career after appearing in a series of Broadway musicals and dramas. The drama received mix reviews as the New York Daily News gave the serial 4/5 stars while USA Today awarded it 3/4 stars. Rotten Tomatoes stated that the production had done an excellent job in terms of creativity but the according to them, the story is somewhat vague.
