Other great band to perform at the festivals is Nashville based, Kings of Leon. This American rock group was formed in 1999, and includes Anthony Caleb Followill, Ivan Nathan Followill, Michael Jared Followill and Cameron Matthew Followill as its members. The early music of the group was an upbeat mix of blues and Southern rock, but over the years it has included various others genres. The group received initial success with nine Top 40 tracks within UK and also won two BRIT Awards.

Its debut album "Youth & Young Manhood", along with two records that followed made it to the top five list of the UK Albums chart. The musical numbers Notion, Sex on Fire and Use Somebody all went on to peak at number one on the charts. Together, the ensemble has released six albums and has supported them with immense touring.
