Founded in 1987 in Lodi New Jersey, Danzig is an American heavy metal band. The band was formed by Glenn Danzig, Samhain and Misfits and they usually play bluesy heavy metal style mostly influenced by early sound of Black Sabbath. The band released their debut album in 1988 which was followed by Lucifuge in 1990.
