In his 11^th season with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Josep Caballé-Domenech is known for combining great symphonic with an operatic repertoire. Having worked with many popular orchestras, Domenech has been able to find his individuality and shares his vision with the musicians he’s mentoring.

Thomas Wilson has an extensive experience orchestras and ensembles. A firm believer of music education, he has encouraged and inspired generations of musicians. His talent and appeal transcend national boundaries as he entertains the audience with wonderful textures and musical layers.

Instruments & Instrumentalists

These two brilliant mentors lead an equally talented team of musicians that include violinists, violists, celloist, double bassist, and flautists. Other instruments used by the orchestra are oboe, clarinet, French horn, trumpet, trombone, bassoon, and tuba.

2022-23 Programs Calendar

Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts will be hosting several performances in its 2022-23 calendar year.

Celtic Spirit: Performed by the vocalist Cathie Ryan, the music performance takes the listeners on a Celtic musical journey.

The Nutcracker: The national holiday tradition, The Nutcracker will also be performed by the Colorado Springs Philharmonic.

Christmas Symphony: Holiday show, Christmas Symphony is also on the program list and will rekindle the holiday spirit in people of Colorado.

New Year’s Eve: Set to take place on December 31, 2022, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic will ring in the new year in style with a jazzy concert, helmed by the pianist Aaron Diehl and Thomas Wilson will serve as the conductor.
