Influenced by the likes of Iron Maiden, Shadows Fall, John Mayer, Megadeth and Slayer, the band has a wide range of musical styles. Although it is often categorized as one of the melodic death metal, heavy metal and metalcore bands, the truth is that All That Remains has been defying there preconceived labels since their formation. Hence, it is difficult to put a specific genre label next to its name.

All That Remains hails from Springfield and emerged on the music scene in late 90s. The band was founded by the former Shadows Fall vocalist Phil Labonte. The current line-up of the band includes four other members; Mike Martin on guitar, Oli Herbert on guitar, Jason Costa on drums and Jeanne Sagan on bass.

The band debuted in 2002, with the release of "Behind Silence and Solitude" through Prosthetic Records. Two years later, it came up with another album "This Darkened Heart", which was followed by "The Fall of Ideals" that came out in 2003. It was this album that earned the band well deserved mainstream success. The Fall of Ideals sold more than 13,000 copies within the first week of its release. The first two singles of the album were This Calling, which was chosen to be the soundtrack of SAW III and The Air That I Breathe. By June 2007, the album's sale had reportedly exceeded 100,000. This was followed by the band winning a place at the Ozzfest 2006. The single Six from the same album was featured in a popular video game "Guitar Hero."

The group went on a headlining tour in 2008, with Light This City and Divine Heresy and later appeared on Van's Warped Tour's Midwestern leg. The same year, the band started working on its next album "Overcome", which hit the stores in September 2008. It was produced by Jason Suecof. The album received mixed reviews from critics. Its lead single was Chiron, which was followed by Two Weeks. The band appeared on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival in June 2009 and played at the Jägermeister stage along with Trivium and God Forbid.

In April 2010, the band started recording its next album, "For We Are Many", which was released in October, 2010. For We Are Many charted at number ten on the Billboard 200 and sold over 29,000 copies within the first week of its release. To support it, the band went on "The Napalm & Noise Tour", which kicked off in November, 2010. The tour was co-headlined by The Devil Wears Prada and was supported by Haste the Day and Story of the Year. In the 9^th Annual Independent Music Awards, which took place in January, 2011, the band won top honors in the Hard Rock/Metal category. The band was also a part of the Share the Welt fall tour with Rains, Hatebreed and Five Finger Death Punch.

The band's sixth studio album titled "A War You Cannot Win" was released in 2012. Along with six studio albums, the band has also released a live CD/DVD and to date, has sold more than one million albums worldwide. Currently, the band is gearing up for its upcoming tour and will be coming to your city soon.
