Afroman is a stage name of one of the famous rap singer, whose actual name is Joseph Edgar Foreman. He was born on July 28, 1974 in the town of East Palmdale of California; he had moved to moved to Hattiesburg of Mississippi, at later stage.

He has been quite popular for his song is the year of 2001, titled Because I Got High, the song had helped him to get an instant fame through Napster, local radio play, a feature on Howard Stern's radio show.

He had a greatest hits compilation under the name The Good Times. It was released after his record deal with Universal Records.

It has also contained his two hit singles: Because I got high and Crazy Rap, along with his other popular songs from his two albums. The song Mississippi is different on this album than on the original version.
