Aaron Lewis is the founding member of the famous rock band known as Staind. He is a rhythm guitarist and also the lead vocalist of the band. Lewis was born on the 13^th of April in 1972. With the rock band, Staind, Lewis has successfully recorded and released a total of seven studio music albums. He has embarked upon a solo career in country music and has also released a debut solo record titled as Town Line.  On the 1^st of March in 2011, an EP on the Stroudavarious Records was released by Lewis. His very first complete solo album called The Road will be released by Blaster Records.

Aaron Lewis comes from Longmeadow in Massachusetts in the United States of America. Lewis's main musical genres consist of country, nu metal, alternative metal and post grunge. He is a successful musician as well as a songwriter. Apart from his amazing vocals, he also plays the guitar exceptionally well. He has been a part of the music industry since 1990 and has worked with record label companies such as Blaster Records, Flip Records, Stroudvarious Records, Atlantic Records, R&J Records and the Elektra Records. He has also given associated acts with the rock band Staind.

Since the age of seventeen, Aaron Lewis has been effectively giving some truly world class solo acoustic performances and he is doing them to date. Lewis has fruitfully performed as well as written numerous songs that have never really been released officially. Popular songs such as "Something Like Me", "Sleeping at the Wheel", "Angel", "Bonghits for Breakfast" and "Anywhere but Here" have never been released officially but they have been quite famous amongst the fans of Lewis. Well before Aaron Lewis became a band member of Staind, he was in a band which was called J-CAT.

In July 2010, Aaron Lewis completed an EP known as Town Line which came out on the 1^st of March in 2011 via the Stroudavarious Records. This EP has a total of seven songs which also include three different versions of the first song "Country Boy" and this song features Charlie Daniels, George Jones as well as Chris Young. In an interview when asked where Lewis got inspiration from for country music, he said that when he was a young boy, it was his grandfather who introduced him to the genre. He was not to keen about pursuing a music career until he went on a tour with the band Kid Rock and his  interest once again rekindled and he began making country music as a solo performer.
