Before she became chart topping phenomenon of her generation, Carole King was Carol Joan Klein, a young teenage girl from Brooklyn, New York with a strong passion for music. The musical play shows how she arrived at the songwriting factory in Manhattan, hoping to seek employment; this is where you'll witness Jessie Mueller at her best as she gracefully depicts the young dewy eyed Carole King.
