The Ying Yang Twins are an Atlanta-based American crunk rap duo consisting of Kaine and D-Roc. Kaine was Eric Jackson on December 16, 1978 while D-Rock was born DeAngelo Holmes on February 23, 1979.

The Atlanta-based duo of Kaine and D-Roc have two hit albums: Thug Walkin, released in 2000 and Alley: The Return of the Ying Yang Twins came out in 2002. Ying Yang Twins came up with their full-length debut album entitled Thug Walkin' in 2000. The album spawned singles like Whistle While You Twurk and Ying Yang In This Thang which broke the doors down for the duo. The instant success of both songs made Ying Yang Twins immediate players in the hip-hop field.
The albums subsequent hits Say I Yi Yi and By Myself established Kaine and D-Roc as hip-hops premier party-starters. Ying Yang Twins music afforded them to appear as guest spots on albums from Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz and Kizzy Rock.
Two years after the release of their debut album, Thug Walkin, Ying Yang Twns appeared with their second full-length album called Alley...Return of the Ying Yang Twins in 2002. The album was the duo's 2003 team-up with Lil Jon the King of Crunk that brought them nationwide success and sold well down South.
The duos party anthem Salt Shaker was a massive club and radio hit and soon had the TVT label chasing Ying Yang Twins to sign. The duo accepted the deal. TVT Label issued the groups debut album for the label, Me & My Brother. The music record yielded two more crunk hits, What's Happnin! and Naggin'.
Me & My Brother was the third studio album by the rap duo Ying Yang Twins. The album featured Ying Yang Twins biggest hit, the Lil Jon-assisted Salt Shaker. The song reached at number 9 on the Hot 100. The same year the duo appeared on Britney Spears' album In the Zone and her television special of the same name. the following year, TVT released the remix-filled My Brother & Me with a bonus DVD of the group's videos.
It was the bands fourth full-length studio album. The album was a successful hit peaking at number 11 in the U.S. and number 68 on the UK Charts. This version My brother & Me mainly consisted of remixes of former hits by both Ying Yang Twins and other rappers.
Its evident throughout Me & My Brother that the Twins have perfected the art of making credible, memorable hip-hop songs. In an interview, Kaine said that they make things with a catchy vibe, so that listenersll be eager to want to get to know the song.
Commenting further he stated that its like if a listener wants to holler at a female, he is going to step his mouthpiece up real good before he says what he is getting ready to say to her for he doesnt get a second chance to make a first impression. Around this time, D-Roc and Kaine planned to make music that would make a mark in their hometown. They came up with USA (United State of Atlanta) appeared in the summer of 2005.
Ting Yang Twins USA (United States of Atlanta) spawned a single Wait (The Whisper Song) which dominated urban radio. U.S.A. Still United is a CD/DVD combo from the platinum Atlanta duo. Wait was featured in its remix version, as is the remix of the followup Shake with labelmate Pitbull and dancehall superstar Elephant Man.
The album also included the most recent single Bedroom Boom featuring Avant, plus five previously unreleased songs. The album debuted at number 2 on the billboard charts. Chemically Imbalanced is the fifth studio album from the Ying Yang Twins, released on November 28, 2006.
The duos most recent album Chemically Imbalanceds first single, Dangerous would feature Wyclef Jean and production by Mr. Collipark.
The music record was originally titled 2 Live Crew, an ode to the hip-hop group of the same name. The album debuted at number 40 on the Billboard 200 with 36,000 copies sold.
