His first contract was signed with Warner Bros. records. ?Say yeah?; the song produced under the Warner bros. records topped each and every American music chart. The song secured the 25th position on Billboard?s rhythmic top 40 and the 20th spot in Billboard?s hot rap tracks. In 2008, he released his next mix tape ?Star Power? that added another jewel to Wiz?s crown. It was last year that Wiz ended his contract with Warner Bros. record when they were delaying his next album ?First Flight.? Continuing his deal with Rostrum records, khalifa released his next super hit single ?teach U to fly? and his series of mix tapes namely ?how fly?, ?flight school? and ?burn after rolling?. At this point in career, the rapper wanted to try something that would set him apart from the rest. Hence, he tried some singing mixed with rapping that could prove that Khalifa was a singer to watch out for. That same year, the young yet powerhouse talent released his second album ?Deal or no Deal.? Year 2010 saw Wiz Khalifa trying out something that no one had done before. He released a free mix tape ?Kush and orange juice.?
