Finding Solace in Country Music

Kane Brown grew up listening to country music. Influenced by Sugarland and Shania Twain, he began to perform music after he won a talent show in school by singing a rendition of Chris Young song, Gettin' You Home. Brown then decided to participate in The X Factor but left the show when the producers wanted to put him a boy band. This led to him sharing videos of his cover of songs by artists like Billy Currington, Brantley Gilbert and Alan Jackson.

He started to gain some traction when he uploaded the cover of Lee Brice's song, I Don't Care. Brown then posted the cover of the song Check Yes or No by George Strait which went viral, garnering over seven million views. Following the release of the track, he experienced a sudden growth in his popularity.

Kane Brown then began to start recording his first extended play, 'Closer' which became available in markets on June 2, 2015. It reached at the seventh spot on the Top Country Albums chart. He then followed it up by putting out his follow-up EP, 'Chapter 1' which came out on March 18, 2016. Issued by RCA Nashville, this extended play peaked at the ninth spot on the Billboard 200. It also gave a single, Used to Love You Sober which was certified platinum by the RIAA.

First Studio Album

In 2016, Kane Brown began to build hype for his first eponymous studio album and released the first single from the record, Ain't No Stopping Us Now on June 17, 2016. A couple of months later, he churned out the record's second single, Thunder in the Rain. On August 3, 2016, Brown went on 'Ain't No Stopping Us Now Tour' which started on November 3.

Almost a month later, Kane Brown's self-titled studio album arrived in stores. The record made headline across the world. It peaked at the first and fifth spot on the Top Country Albums chart and Billboard 200 respectively. The effort also achieved platinum sales in the United States and was supported by singles, What Ifs and Heaven. The former featured Lauren Alaina and topped the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay chart. The song was also certified quadruple times platinum in the United States. The latter too topped the Country Airplay chart and went on to sell over four million copies in the U.S. Brown also performed this song live on the NBC's singing competition, 'The Voice.'

Experiment

In 2018, Kane Brown announced that he is working on his next studio album and also released the first single from the record - Lose It. The track became a monstrous hit in North America, topping the Hot Country Songs, Country Airplay and Canada Country chart. Co-written by Will Weatherly and Chase McGill, the track achieved platinum sales in the United States. On September 4, 2018, he revealed the title of his upcoming studio project via twitter and after a couple of months 'Experiment' hit the markets. The record turned out to be a huge step forward for him as it marked his first effort to top the Billboard 200. It was also received well by the critics.

On January 7, 2019, Kane Brown released his second single from 'Experiment' called Good as You which debuted at the first spot on the Country Airplay chart. He then put out the record's third single, Homesick which was certified gold by the RIAA.

Kane Brown has revealed dates for 'The Worldwide Beautiful Tour.'  The trek is scheduled to start with a show in Dublin in February 2020.
