Laidback Luke was born with the birth name Lucas Cornelis van Scheppingen in October 1976. He left his home land, Philippines, to move to Holland. Dobre decided to help Luke and championed the young producer. In 1995 Luke came up with the “Loud Flava, Vol. 1”. Volume two followed soon after. Still under the guidance of Dobre, Luke released “Act the Fool” through Dobre's record label, Touché.
