Details of Earthquake and the Ticket Luck value
It all started as a joke. A sergeant in the U.S Air Force named Nathaniel Martin Stroman, served his country for eight years. Deployed at the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, he started to frequent a bar called the “Top's and Blue's,” where open mic nights were held regularly. Here sergeant Stroman started doing stand-up comedy just to see if he could pull it off. He realized it could be done, so he started to practice and hone his talent. Stroman was so good, that he started building a following and that is when he realized comedy was what he wanted to do. The decision changed his life and the brilliant comedian Earthquake was born.
One of the best comedians around, Earthquake has been working the comedy circuit for quite a long time now. Also known as the Quake, he has now appeared in numerous movies, TV shows and comedy specials. He has also performed on famous talk shows and in comedy sketches featuring the biggest names in the entertainment industry. He has established his reputation as a true comedy maestro. Earthquake tickets are always in demand whenever he hits the road to perform and now that he is on tour, it is more of the same this time around as well. If you want to add a bit more humor to your life, then watch one of the funniest men in the business perform live.
His early amateur comedy nights prepared him for his new profession and he went on from there. He started performing in clubs and shady bars to get some recognition. He was finally booked to appear on the Black Entertainment Television (BET)'s standup comedy show, the “Comic View.” Earthquake was also selected for HBO's “Def Comedy Jam.” Both these shows have been instrumental in launching several African-American comedians like Cedric the Entertainer, Chris Tucker and Dave Chappelle etc. Those stints put Earthquake on the map and his next job took him to Atlanta where he became the host and presenter of a comedy club called the Uptown Comedy Corner. His reputation grew and he performed countless sold out shows at the club.
He was given another TV break when he got selected for Comedy Central's show called “Premium Blend.” The program made him even more famous and he booked a spot on the HBO show “Real Time with Bill Maher.” Maher was immensely impressed by Earthquake and he became the first guest on the show to be given a standing ovation by the host as well as the audience.
Earthquake then recorded his solo performance called “Comedy Central Presents: Earthquake!” which showed audiences his comedic range and the diversity of his dialogue delivery. He next made an appearance in the comedy show, “Laffapalooza,” a Comedy Central special, presented by Jamie Foxx. He was lauded for his upbeat and extremely hilarious performance in which he held his own among some of the best comedians in the business. He did several other shows for Comedy Central after this, making special appearances in sitcoms as well as in standup shows.
Earthquake's first DVD release came in 2005 when he made the critically acclaimed standup show called “About Got Damn Time.” This was a true celebration of his talents as a comedian and as a comedic writer. It gave him the chance to fully express himself on a variety of different topics as well as give his fans something that they could enjoy from the comfort of their homes.
Earthquake's breakout to the big screen came in 2006 when he appeared in three movies, the Barnyard, Getting Played and the extremely funny Clerks part two. He also appeared on the very famous show “Howard Stern on Demand,” where the renowned Howard Stern declared that Earthquake was his favorite new comedian.
Much success has followed and the Earthquake keeps on going from strength to strength. He has performed countless live shows and starred in various sitcoms and movies. He has also recently taken up his position as a radio personality on the WBLS network and has been a staple on the “Howard Stern Show” for the past few years. His use of real life situations and world news in comedy as well as his propensity to disregard taboo subjects and controversial topics sets him apart from his contemporaries. This is your chance to grab Earthquake tickets and watch one of the best comedians in the country live.
