Boys II Men are based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States and were founded in the year 1988. The members got together in Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts and decided to form a band, which they named Boys II Men. The group is made up of Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman and Nathan Morris. The first album of the group was issued in the year 1991 and was titled Cooleyhighharmony. The producer of the record was Michaeil Bivins. The album contained a classic soul sound and new jack drum heavy swing style. The sound came to be known as “hip hop doo wop.”
Boys II Men managed to gain international fame during the 1990s, and saw numerous of their songs on the pop charts.
