The director, Tom Whateley, who has been working actively for over forty years has tried his level best to make The Bus Stop Atheist one of the finest theatrical productions of all times. Alan Bean, the writer and composer of this project has also amazed the entire cast and crew by writing such an amazing story.

Regarding the musical's story, the director is reported to have said that, "Alan Bean has written one of the most remarkable pieces of musical theater I have ever been a part of! Before working on The Bus Stop Atheist, the director, Tom Whateley, have had the experience of working with companies such as, the Shawnee Playhouse, the Cooperstown Theater Festival, the Carousel Dinner Theater, the Civic Theater and the Orlando Opera Co. He is also credited for writing the one man cabaret called, Broadway and All That Jazz! which played before sold out audiences for quite some time.  

The writer/composer, Alan Bean has been playing rock, country, blues, jazz and R&B since the 70s and is reported to have spent multiple years in coming up with the perfect story for The Bus Stop Atheist. He has played all the bass and guitar parts on the project, along with a few keyboard pieces. Several other experienced singers and musicians, including Ed Gabrielsen, Joyce Andersen, Karna Antonitis and Walt Bannon have lent their voices in various acts of the musical. Many of these people are classical singers and have been entertaining the world for many years.

As far as the characters are concerned, The Bus Stop Atheists has a variety of unique characters, such as Lady Angel, Gabriel, Pilgrim and the Professor. The lead role is of the Pilgrim, a twenty year old student who completely transforms as the story progresses.
