The Slow Burn Theatre Company was formed in August 2009 by Patrick Fitzwater and Matthew Korinko. These two talented men saw an opportunity when they realized that the South Florida region was devoid of any real theater productions and that the place needed a stage where such shows could be held. They also realized the need for teaching and outreach programs that would get the community involved in the shows. The idea was to increased interest in the arts and theater while helping the company grow by providing some artistic and creative outlets for the local population.
