A prize winning rock musical play by Tony and Pulitzer-Rent has won hearts of millions. The show first started in New York City at the Nederlander Theatre on April 29, 1996. Rent's popularity earned the show the title of seventh-longest-running musical on Broadway. Rent is originally adapted from Puccini's opera La boheme.

As his father-in-law is rich and owns an apartment in Avenue B.

Rent is one of those musicals that you would want to watch again and again. The very amazing rock musical premiered in 1994 and has attracted many productions since then. It is based on one of the very popular operas La Boheme which has been running in the theaters for decades now. Rent took the plot from the opera, along with some additions; it follows the story of young and emerging artists who struggle to stay in the scene.
