Pinkalicious is the name of a family musical, which is mainly aimed at kids less than ten years of age. The musical revolves around a girl named 'Pinkalicious' who is addicted to the color Pink. The musical is the adaptation of the series of books written by the award winning authors Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann. The author was inspired by her own daughter to choose this character having the love for the color Pink. The story of Pinkalicious revolves around thislittle girl 'Pinkalicious' who is always after the color pink. The major characters include Peter- her brother, who admires the way his sister enjoys life and starts to play with the pink toys. The cast also includes Mr. and Mrs. Pinkerton as the parents of the girl. Mr. Pinkerton is shown as a strict person, while his wife at times comes across as a rigid person. Other characters include the two butterflies, Bee and a Bird.
 


Pinkalicious is seen eating too many pink cupcakes and doesn't stop even when her parents force her. The writer dramatize the story when one morning the girl wakes up and finds that her skin is all pink, as a result of eating too many pink cupcakes. Her parents try to get her rid of the pink color but nothing works. Here it has a lesson for the kids that following what their parents say is important, otherwise they can get into serious trouble. The girl is taken to Dr. Wink, so that he could get the pink hue out of her body. The doctor advises that she can only get normal if she eats green vegetables. She starts to eat green food but one night, unable to resist her temptation she secretly eats a pink cupcake. The following morning she finds herself all red. She herself finds out the remedy and eats as much of green food as she could and finally she finds herself in the original form and it teaches her great lesson.
 


Pinkalicious is a lesson learning show for children as it teaches them to listen to their parents, follow instructions and eat loads of vegetables! It also teaches children lessons of modesty, kindness, truthfulness and self-control. The exciting story keeps the children glued to their seats as they enjoy the adventures of Pinkalicious.
