A superb US punk-funk group that has toured with Queens of The Stone Age in the past, Cage The Elephant is planning a tour early this year. This Kentucky based group is mainly known for its high-energy live shows. The ensemble's self-titled debut was released in 2008 that made it very popular in America and Europe. The 2009 breakout number of Cage The Elephant, "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked," landed in the Top 5. The band has enjoyed the sales of more than 550,000 copies. Cage The Elephant came up with its second record "Thank You, Happy Birthday" in 2011 that debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, earning the band more positive reception. The band taking its influences from Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fun Lovin Criminals, was formed in 2006 and since then has gained a huge fan following that is always looking for Elephant tickets.
Consisting of the members Matt Shultz, Daniel Tichenor, Lincoln Parish, Jared Champion and Brad Shultz, Cage The Elephant incorporates blues, funk and classic rock in its musical style. The band possessing an eclectic sound released its third studio record, "Melophobia" in 2013. This album was the result of the group's reunion after going through a break up. The quartet teased a new track "Come a Little Closer" through YouTube. This release is a varied collection of notably thoughtful and unabashedly vivid rock songs. In August, Cage The Elephant delivered a live performance of the entire records at Soundcheck Nashville. The show was held for a close group of people like family and friends of the group members. They also performed at KROQ radio station. In 2013 the band also opened for Muse in The 2nd Law World Tour.
The quartet has toured heavily, sold out many headlining shows and also performed alongside other bands such as Foo Fighters, Black Keys, Stone Temple Pilots, Muse, Silversun Pickups and Queens of the Stone Age. Cage The Elephant is a must see live act and fans never forget to buy their Elephant tickets when the ensemble announces its concerts. The upcoming tour by Cage The Elephants also features a US-based group Grouplove with members Hannah Hooper, Christian Zucconi, Sean Gadd, Ryan Rabin and Andrew Wessen. The band was formed in 2009 and released a debut EP spawning a hit single "Colours". Being a full-fledged band, the members gave their first live performance at El Cid in Los Angeles in 2010. Later that year, Grouplove toured with the Florence and The Machine and Joy Formidable. By the end of 2010, the ensemble was already recognized as one of the top ten in the list of "Best New Bands in 2010" by Nylon Magazine. The EP's success and positive response to the live shows led the group to come up with a co-headlined a country-wide tour with Foster The People and also appeared at the famed Lollapalooza. Other festival appearances by the band include Glastonbury Reading and Leeds Festivals and Outside Lands.
The non-stop touring and continuous live performances by the members established them as a formidable live act. In 2011, Grouplove released its debut record, "Never trust A Happy Song" and went on another nationwide tour to support it. By the next year, the ensemble took its infectious music outside the country and performed to a sold-out show in Australia, UK and Europe. After heavy touring, Grouplove released its sophomore record, Spreading Rumours in 2013. The band played to a sold-out crowd the same day of its release. Watching these lives music shows by two acclaimed bands is sure going to be fun for every one present there. Elephant tickets are a treat to all the fans that are ready for the concert and much to their delight, the prices have been reduced.
