Ballet dancer Diana Vishneva has announced her tour dates to perform for four nights in Costa Mesa, California. The show will start in November and fans have already started booking Diana Vishneva tickets. Segerstrom Center for the Arts proudly announces the world premiere of Diana Vishneva: On the Edge and warmly welcomes the dancers to perform on its stage. Diana Vishneva is ballet's international superstar. The world premiere of her signature venture, "Beauty in Motion," was held at the Segerstrom Center, in 2008. The venue presents international and national productions of dance, theater and music to the Southern Californian locals. The International Dance Series at the Segerstrom Center also includes a show starring Ivan Vasiliev and Natalia Osipova.
Opening the 2014 International Dance Season, Diana Vishneva comes to dance in the works produced mainly for her by Jean-Christophe Maillot and Carolyn Carlson. On The Edge is a two-act show and starts with the intriguing piece of Jean-Christophe Maillot, titled Switch, which is followed by "Woman in a Room", the insightful solo work of Carolyn Carlson. The choreographers of Diana also include Carolyn Carlson.
When Diana performed in 2008 in "Beauty in Motion", she took the ballet scene by storm and earned positive reviews and critical acclaim. WNET declared that, "Perfection is a dangerous word, especially when applied to a subjectively perceived art like ballet. But I have no doubt that it applies to Diana Vishneva." Her performance and the production, garnered Russia's three esteemed Golden Mask Awards. Most recently Diana has appeared in 2011's Tour de Force II. After this upcoming world premiere, the On The Edge tour will embark on its European leg in December. It is also planned that the show will run some performances in Moscow, next year.
Diana entered the ballet world in 1994 when she won the world-famous Prix de Lausanne competition. Her journey started with her success at the competition. Diana Vishneva made her ballet debut with The Sleeping Beauty performing as Aurora. The first appearance of Diana Vishneva in London was held during the Nutcracker season of Mariinsky Theatre's at the Coliseum, from 1996 to 1997. At the tour's opening, Diana performed as Masha. In 1996, Diana also participated in other performances. She played the lead role in Don Quixote, following which she was awarded the Divine Prize. During the same month, Diana was offered a solo role in Jerome Robbins' ballet, "In the Night." Diana has also performed as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet." In 1997 Diana returned to Lausanne as a guest star for a gala concert appearance.
The year 1997 brought her a new role of Firebird in the eponymous ballet of Michel Fokine.
