California Ballet the Nutcracker Tickets

She lives in her dream world where she grows up to meet her Nutcracker prince and dances with him.


 
The story of Nutcracker opens at a Christmas party held at a Victorian Family's house. A middle aged mysterious man walks up to Clara and gives her the nutcracker. As soon as the time passes and it's close to midnight, peculiarity sets in. The nutcracker starts to change and magically turns into a prince.  The reactions of young Clara, her facial expressions and the body movement draw a true picture of the situation. Together with the prince, she fights a battle against the evil mice and is taken to the magic land. The arrival into the land of magic allows you to exercise your fantasies to the fullest. The beautiful fairies dressed in pretty costumes fly across the stage, making you feel as if you are in a supernatural world for real. Journeying through the dancing snowflakes, Clara and the prince arrive at the Kingdom of Sweets ruled by a pretty Sugar Palm Fairy. Both of them are treated to the best sweets of the kingdom, dancing flowers and foods from different countries. Among the dance performances include, the Spanish dance, Arabian, Chinese, Russian and the others. Each of them represent the specific culture of each country in contemporary style and gives the audience a different flavor of entertainment with the changing dancing styles with different music. As soon as the dances end, it takes Clara back into the real world where she finds herself standing near the Christmas tree, holding a nutcracker.  


 
California Ballet Nutcracker is originally a brainchild of E.T.A Hoffman, which turned into a form of ballet by Tchaikovsky. Initially it wasn't a hit but eventually in mid fifties, it crossed borders for outstanding fame and popularity.


 
California Ballet Nutcracker takes you through a journey into the world of fantasy with prince and fairies.
