The band signed with Universal Republic as "Cash Cash" in 2007. Since then the band has released three albums including "Cash Cash," "Take it To the Floor," "Love or Lust" and the more recent the "Beat Goes On" released in 2012. The band collaborated with Sega to produce music for the Sonic franchise. They released the theme song for the Sonic Colors "Reaching for the Stars" as well as the ending song "Speak With Your Heart."

On the other hand, the Boom Festival will also feature "Crush 40," a hard rock band formed in 1997. Crush 40 has also mesmerized and captivated thousands of fans across the globe and the band is renowned for producing several soundtrack albums and music for various video games and series. Also known as, "Sons of Angels," the band's origin lies in US as well as Japan. The band has released three albums including "Thrill of The Feel," "Crush 40" and "The Best of Crush 40 - Super Sonic Songs." They have produced music for several renowned games including NASCAR Arcade, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Sonic & the Black Knight, and Sonic Generation. The band's lineup has gone through several changes over the years however, the band currently comprises of Toru Kawamura, Takeshi Taneda, Johnny Gioeli and Jun Senoue. The event will be held at the House of Blues in California. The facility offers state of the art technology and several other services to make any event special.
