His family gathers at the household and from here starts the family saga filled with drama, emotions, twists and turns; all making way for great ENTERTAINMENT.While the Watson family soon learnt that Beverly has committed suicide, it is their internal relationships that evoke more tragedy than his sudden death. The focus is now shifted on Violet Weston, the other head of the family who is over dependent on drugs but her sharp tongue is not dependent on anything. She can reveal the toughest family secrets in no time, but what about the secrets she does not know.

We also have Violet's three middle aged daughters and their respective families who are trying to cope up with her sharp tongue and countless prescription drugs. Barbara Fordham is the oldest and perhaps the saddest of them all. She has to deal with her estranged husband Bill Fordham and a 14-year-old distressed daughter Jean. The middle daughter and "Mom's favorite" Ivy Weston is secretly having an affair with Little Charles. He is the son of Violet's sister Mattie Fae Aiken and (well no spoilers here). The youngest one is Karen who is happily engaged to Steve until and unless (another) twist shakes her life. All of them, along with supporting characters like Johnna the housekeeper and Sheriff, discover various facets of life like love, death, drug, sexual abuse, infidelity et al as the story progresses.
