Real Betis Tickets

Real Betis is a Spanish soccer club, a member of the La Liga. It was founded in 1907 and its home stadium is the Benito Villamarin in Seville within the Spanish region of Andalusia. It is a stadium with a seating capacity of over fifty six thousand. Its chairman is Miguel Guillen with Pepe Mel as the manager. In the 2011-2012 season; it captured thirteenth place in the league.

Its official colors are blue and green. This Spanish soccer club has many a first in Spain, including being the first Andalusian club to participate in the La Liga. It has also won the Primera Division championship and the Copa del Rey twice. It is therefore hardly a surprise that many fans order Real Betis tickets well in advance of the team's matches.

The current King of Spain, Juan Carlos I, and Prince Felipe de Borbon, his son are honorary members of Real Betis and thus their royal patrons. They also have a fierce rivalry with Sevilla FC. After its formation in 1913, the club developed a fan base amongst the working class as well as nobles, including the King of Spain who would go on to become the patron of the club in 1914. It was actually formed when Sevilla FC split and later on went and merged with Sevilla Balompie, the city's second soccer club. The new team was then known as "Real Betis Balompie."

In 1931, Real Betis made its way to the finals of the Copa del Rey and won its first Segunda Division title in 1932 to celebrate its twenty fifth anniversary in style. That made it the first soccer club from Andalusia to play in the La Liga. In 1935, it became La Liga champion, hardly two years after entering the league under the superb coaching of Patrick O'Connell. They came first, surpassing Real Madrid who captured the second spot in the league.  Following that, the club went through tough times due to lack of finances and were relegated to the second division. In 1954 it became the first and only Spanish soccer club to win all of the three major division titles.

The club returned to its former heights during the 1958-1959 season and went on to came third in the La Liga in 1964, three years after moving to the Estadio Heliopolis. It was Villamarin's leadership that saw the club through this time, such as buying the stadium and nurturing future Spanish soccer star, Luis del Sol.

In 1977, the club won the Copa del Rey and then finished fifth in the league. They then participated in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in which they defeated AC Milan, amongst other teams. It continued finishing top in the league and even qualified for the UEFA Cup twice. This is in short a team whose fans have bought Real Betis tickets, with many of these supporters being the people who have supported the teams since its earliest days.
