The Washington Nationals play in the Major League Baseball and D.C United play in the Major League Soccer. This makes Washington one of the few cities which have teams in all major games in the USA. The city is also a place where stage performances take place regularly. The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts hosts different events and live performances. The U Street Corridor is an area in Washington DC which has been the hub of concerts and other performances and has been nick-named ?Washington's Black Broadway?. Some of history?s greatest venues like the Lincoln Theater and the Bohemian Caverns are both located there. Washington is home to some musical legends like John Coltrane and Miles Davis. Near the U Street Corridor,other venues like 'The Black Cat' and the '9:30 Club' also host concerts. The Shakespeare Theater Company has shows on regularly which can be watched live.
