The Vancouver Whitecaps is a very popular major league soccer club. The Whitecaps were originally established in the early 70s and from time to time the club kept on making changes. They replaced USSF Division 2 team which had the same name and was previously under the ownership and management of the same group that operates the MLS team, and which also played through the conclusion of that league's 2010 season.
Vancouver Whitecaps are now referred to as one of the top professional soccer leagues in the US and Canada. The MLS club is the third team that has been sharing the legacy of the Whitecaps name. With director and head coach such as, Richard Grootscholten and Tom Soehn, the status and the abilities of the team have expanded quite amazingly. The team's recent victory against one of its greatest rivals 'Canadian Toronto FC' has made the fans even more eager to attend their upcoming matches.
The talented and energetic player Eric Hassli gave a tremendous performance in the recent games and won everybody's heart through his efforts. Vancouver Whitecaps may have kept the same name, but they didn't compromise on the logo and came up with a fresh and innovative design. The logo has been designed according to the cold weather of the northern areas of Vancouver. It shows three triangular white capped mountains with a color combination of navy blue, white and light blue. Similarly the interlocking diamond patterns on the shirt are also quite popular among the fans. They are also reflective to light and seem pretty amazing to the naked eye.
Vancouver Whitecaps is popular for being a part of sold out games all over the nation. According to their previous records, The Caps sold the first 5000 season tickets within 48 hours the moment they became available to the public. The only sincere supporters of the Vancouver Whitecaps are the Southsiders. They are not in hundreds or thousands. These hardcore fans are in millions and have always encouraged and supported the team in good and bad times. The current roster of the team includes some of the finest soccer players. These include Eric Hassli, Michael Boxell, Bilal Duckett and Joe Cannon.
The Caps have recently signed a deal with the media that includes both radio and television. Their matches will be heavily televised and broadcasted on the radio but that is only for the fans who find it difficult to come to the actual venue. There is absolutely no comparison with the live experience. At a live you get to cheer your team to victory and raise their spirits with sign boards, charts and other things. Don't waste time thinking and start securing the best seats beforehand. The Vancouver Whitecaps are ready to give their rivals a tough time. Are you with them!
