The American Rodeo Tickets

Presented by RFD TV, the American is an annual rodeo competition that takes place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas. It is a complete rodeo extravaganza that features multiple rodeo events. It has been dubbed "the richest rodeo on the planet" due to the fact that over $2 million was handed out in winnings during the first show in 2014. The show is back for 2015 and it will feature all the key players from last year in addition to new entrances. Prize money has been set at well above $2 million overall for this event.

The events featured in this one day extravaganza include bareback and bronc riding, barrel racing, tie down roping, team roping, bull riding and steer riding. Contestants in the bareback & bronc riding competition are given time to ride a horse bareback or a bronc. They are scored on the amount of time they are able to spend on top of their animal and winners are chosen accordingly. The barrel racing event is very popular with female competitors and includes completing a course while riding a horse. The course is lined with barrels in various positions and competitors have to jump over them to navigate the course. The quickest time wins.

Tie down roping is also a timed event where a competitor on a horse attempts to put a rope around a calf's neck. They then have to dismount from the horse and tie the calf's legs. The person to complete this task in the shortest time wins. Team roping consists of the same rules but with two riders and a steed instead of a calf. The two riders, one header and one heeler have to get the rope around the steed's neck and legs. Bull riding and steer riding are timed events that give out score on how long a person can stay on the back of a bull or a wild horse.

The American Rodeo will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Previously known as the Cowboy's Stadium, this 105,000 capacity venue is one of the largest and premier venues in the US. It features a retractable roof, executive suites and the 4^th largest screen in the US. It is also home to the Dallas Cowboys and hosted the Super Bowl in 2013. Since opening in 2009, the stadium has also hosted a number of large concerts and NBA All-stars games.

This year, the American rodeo event is going to be much larger than last year. According to new rules, each event will feature the top ten competitors for each respective event. Also, winners of events throughout the year will also be entered into the competition.
