Road Warriors
The Road Warriors was a name of a professional wrestling tag team, which was comprised of the famous players like Michael Hawk Hegstrand and Joseph Animal Laurinaitis.

The pair got recognition as being, and they made popular the use of face paint, using their massive physiques and power moves to win over audiences, and they had also introduced a tandem maneuver known as the Doomsday Device.
The partners were known to use the move as a team finisher throughout their careers, even when teaming with other partners. The Road Warriors had a beginning, as part of Paul Ellering's Legion of Doom stable in Georgia Championship Wrestling of 1983.
Nobody could imagine that the careers of these two players named Hawk could have such a long duration of over two decades.
They had also appeared in the All Japan Pro Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and the World Wrestling Federation, and there were several other independent promotions all around the United States.

It is interesting to know that Animal had a short competition record before entry into the Road Warrior. Ellering made a pair him with Hawk to form the Road Warriors. The stable had a very brief duration, but it gave a dynamic boost to the careers of both of the wrestlers.
The Road Warriors were famous for their power, style and unique clothes, which had let them a quick notice by the fans. It had really turned the tables of some of the very famous wrestlers, down and they saw an unmatched victorious journey in the field of wrestling.
In the state of Georgia, the team had a all of sudden success, and they rose to the top despite being very young and without the traditional. They had a first major victory, right after six months of their debut; they had won the NWA National Tag Team Championship.
The Road Warriors had seen a move to Verne Gagne's American Wrestling Association (AWA) along with their manager Paul Ellering. They had defeated The Crusher and Baron Von Raschke for the AWA World Tag Team Championship in the year of 1984.
They had become the AWA's top draw throughout 1984 and 1985. Hawk and Animal eventually lost the AWA titles to Jimmy Garvin and Steve Regal on in 1985; it was due to the interference of the Freebirds.
The Road Warrior had their last appearance in the AWA, they appeared in a cage match against the team of Garvin and Michael Hayes at WrestleRock 86, and they had won the match.
