The Purdue Boilermakers are meeting the Western Michigan Broncos at the Ross-aid Stadium for a thrilling game. It's the home of the Boilermaker Football team and the Boilers are sure to be pumped for this home game. The Purdue Boilermakers have snapped up twelve  conference championships, and the university's athletes have made it all the way to the Olympics, coming home with a total of thirteen gold medals, four silver medals and six bronze medals.

Their football team has produced NFL stars like Bob DeMoss and Dale Samuels, NFL Hall of Famers like Gary Danielson, Jim Everett, Bob Griese and Mike Phipps. Purdue quarter-backs have thrown the most touchdowns by a university in the NFL. The Purdue Boilermakers also won the 2011 Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl and the Motor City Bowl in 2007.

The two teams are meeting for the football season opener, and it's a great chance for the fans to see the season's kick off. The last time the Broncos and the Boilermakers met in a game was in 2011, so their respective fans will be excited for this chance to watch them face off each other. Statistics, tactics and game plans for both teams are under scrutiny as the date for the game draws closer. The Broncos' defense is admirable and they have had a pretty great run so far, but Purdue is a force to be reckoned with.
