Playing in the North American Soccer League, the New York Cosmos and the Ottawa Fury FC are currently listed in Division II of the American League System. Ottawa Fury FC is a soccer team that was established in 2011. Hailing from Canada, the team took it's time to settle in the professional leagues before making its official debut on the field in the spring season of 2014. With the line-up for the fall season including players such as Mason Trafford, Maykon, Tony Donatelli and Oliver Minatel, the team is looking for a successful run that puts them at the top of the league.
On the other end are the New York Cosmos. Pele, the greatest soccer player in the history of the game, is the club's honorary president, and the Cosmos are currently ranked number two in the National American Soccer League. The Cosmos were reformed in 2010 and played their inaugural season in 2013.
This year, they head on to the field under the direction of Head Coach, Giovanni Savarese, and a roster full of talented players. Jimmy Maurer, Ayoze, Diomar Diaz, Dane Murphy, Sebastian Guenzatti, Marcos Senna, and Paulo Ferreira-Mendes are all signed on for the upcoming season, and the team is hoping to win the league title this year.
