Details of Ncaa Frozen Four and the Ticket Luck value
The Frozen Four are the semi-finals from which winning teams go on to play the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship. This championship is collectively known to be the “Final Four” in the final rounds. The success of this long running-event paved the way for the NCAA Women's Frozen Four. It was launched in the 2000-01 season and over the past thirteen years has grown to become one of the most followed women’s sports events in the United States.
The NCAA Frozen Four started in 1948 under the name NCAA Men's Division I Ice Hockey Tournament. It was the first of its kind elimination challenge where collegiate national champions would outshine everyone. The competition became very popular because of its interesting format and features. Representative teams of the all the five conferences of Division I participate in this tournament. They are chosen by the Championship Committee. Five teams enter the championship by default; they include all the winning teams from the Division I conference championships. The name Frozen Four was added to the NCAA championship title in 1999. This change meant that the two final rounds of the hockey tournament would see the best team win with a clean sweep. The four initial games of the tournament are played at regional venues and then the semi-finals/finals are played at one venue.
The Championship Committee is a very important part of this event. It has designed to make sure that the teams and ice hockey fans get to enjoy a competitive and thrilling atmosphere. The teams play with immense determination to prove themselves as the best in the region. The four teams acing the initial round are given a place in the National Semifinals Bracket such that No. 1 seed will play against No. 4 while No. 2 seed will play against No. 3. No.1 seeds are given the highest preference and priority. They are made to play either at their home stadium or a site closest to their region’s center. Similarly No.2 seed enjoys playing at a venue closer to its home stadium.
The Frozen Four has other side attractions like the Hobey Baker Awards and the Hockey Humanitarian Awards that take place every year along with the tournament. The annual Town Hall Meeting is also a part of the Frozen Four weekend celebrations. These events and the tournament attract large crowds of ice hockey fans from all over the country.
