No event took place in 1949, 1951 and 1952. The race became a constant fixture of the annual Formula One World Championship in the year 1955. The legendary Brazilian "Ayrton Senna" holds the record for the most Monaco Grand Prix wins with six triumphs against his name. Graham Hill and Michael Schumacher are joint second on the list with five wins each. On the constructors front McLaren leads the count with a whopping fifteen wins followed by Ferrari in second who have come out on top on nine occasions.
