La Liga
Spain, a country which is known for its quality vegetation and almost an expensive country in regards to the agriculture boom. Spain is also known for sports culture prevailing in the country and is one of the renowned countries that are included in the Olympic Games.
Football is also sport that is enjoyed by the sports lovers named La-Liga, which is known to be the top professional football league in Spain. La-Liga happens to be a primera division of the Liga de Futbol Profesional (professional football league).
Spain has privileged to have nine clubs that have been crowned as football champions, Madrid and Barcelona being prominent amongst the clubs. The 1990's have been considered as the lucky, where both the afore mentioned teams had won a number of champion titles.
And it was also in this very 20th century that the Primera Divisi?n has been more competitive. And in addition to their success in Primera Divisi?n, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Valencia are three of the most successful teams in European competition history.
All three clubs are the only Spanish clubs to have won 5 or more international trophies, all three clubs are also in the top ten most successful clubs in European football in terms of European trophies. The Primera Divisi?n is also rated as the third highest league.
When the Primera Liga resumed after the Spanish Civil War the teams that initially emerged as the strongest clubs were three in number.
While other clubs lost players to exile, execution and as casualties of the war, it was only the Atl?tico Aviaci?n team that was reinforced by a merger. There were also runners-up in 1990's. The 20th century had been a time period of ups and downs for Espania.
During the mid 90's it was FC Barcelona who won the very first Liga and next to it, it was Madrid itself who had won their first title. Then it was Athletic Bilbao that set the early pace winning Primera Divisi?n.
Their luck took a twist forward when Primera Divisi?n was suspended during the Spanish Civil War; however, clubs in the Republican area of Spain, with the notable exception of the two Madrid clubs, were very much present and competed in the Mediterranean league.
After the lucky mid 90's, entered the late 90's which further was a continuation of winning sequences but this time it was not the Barcelona or Madrid who won the league match, in fact it was Real Sociedad who had won their first title which had been retained for two whole years.
All in all there were many football teams who had the chance of striving for the best and winning the league title. And they were all a part of the end of the 90's.
The new millennium brought hopes and new challenges faced by primeria division. The primeria division has a long history of victories during the last century and with the immensing of the next century this consistent behavior regarding their victories had also been a part of the new millennium and seemed as a never ending story of their winning.
