One franchise hails from Des Moines, Iowa, whereas the other franchise hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Iowa Barnstormers were founded in 1994 and play today at Des Moines's Wells Fargo Arena. They joined the Arena Football League in 1995 and were members of the Central Division of the American Conference until 2000. Many more of their players have been part of the All-Arena teams, with Kurt Warner and Jesse Schmidt playing twice and Carlos James playing thrice. The Pittsburgh Power, a fabulous AFL franchise, plays in the city's Consol Energy Center. It has been a member of the Arena Football League since 2011 and is also part of the East Division of the American Conference. Its official colors are gold and black and its owners are Lynn Swann and Matt Shaner, who is also the team's general manager. Ron James is the franchise's head coach. They share a stadium with the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins and has the same color scheme as them. They are also one of the most talented teams in the Arena Football League with player P. J. Berry named the All-Arena team and the All-Ironman team in 2012.
