With their team colors blue, red and white, Guadalajara has established a record of maintaining its position in football's first-tier. The team has also been stated by FIFA as being the most successful Mexican football club by establishing the record of having the longest winning streak in a season. With its home-grown players, Guadalajara is the only football club to launch field players who have been able to gain massive international fame.
Club America shares a similar stature of success with eight FIFA internationally recognized trophies, two Copa International titles, five CONCACAF Championship trophies and a CONCACAF Giants Cup. Established in 1916, the football club has been competing actively for ninety six years now. Currently competing in Liga MX as well, the team supports the colors yellow, blue and red. Due to their success, the football club was named the "Central and North American football franchise of the twenty-first century" by International Federation of Football History and Statistics in 2010.
