Delray Beach Tennis Championship as evident from the name is a tournament that is held every year in the scenic beach town of Delray Beach in Florida. This tournament is a men's single and doubles event and is played under the patronage of ATP as World Tour 250 Series. The actual event has been taking place in Delray since 1993 under the name ATP World Series and ATP International Series but it was renamed World Tour 250 Series in 2009.
 
The event is played at the famous Delray Beach Tennis Center. This is a spacious venue that can seat around 8,000 spectators. In the past it has also hosted other popular tennis events like Davis Cup and Fed Cup. For the first six years the event was taking place in Coral Springs, Florida. The current prize money on winning this event is $500,000.
 
The first ever Delray Beach Tennis Championship was won in 1993 by Todd Martin who beat David Wheaton. The same year doubles title was won by the team of John McEnroe and Jonathan Stark.  Since the tournament has started Jan Michael Gambill, Ernests Gulbis and Jason Stoltenberg have won it twice. In doubles event the pairs of Bob Bryan, Mike Bryan and Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde have won the title twice. Some popular stars that have been part of this tournament in the past are Andy Roddick, James Blake, Tommy Hass, Jiri Novak, Andrew Lie, Leander Paes, Jamie Murray, Martin Rodriquez, David Adams and Rajeev Ram.
 
 
Delray Beach Tennis Champion will again be featuring some star players like k Nishikori, B Reynolds, F Cipolla, Ernests Gulbis, K Anderson and R Brankis.
