Boxing at Meadows Tickets

Prairie Meadows Events and Conference Center brings cheers to boxing fans this fall with a total of six bouts scheduled for the coming Boxing at Meadows event. The night is announced to feature Elijah McCall contesting for GBU Americas Heavyweight championship along with the flyweight Hollie Dunaway among others. This coming boxing event, which is dated to be held on November 15, 2013 at Altoona's Prairie Meadows Events and Conference Center is going to have six bouts. The main event will feature Elijah McCall going for the GBU Americas Heavyweight Championship at the Bishop Ballroom. The other main event will feature Hollie Dunaway defending her NABF Flyweight Title. Boxing at Meadows has made its return to the Prairie Meadows after being held in 2008 most recently when Joe Frazier made an appearance at the venue. Although the rest of the fighters haven't been confirmed yet, it is announced that the boxing fans will get to see Elijah McCall and Hollie Dunaway.

Hollie Dunaway enjoys her fair share of fan following, ever since she made her debut back on February 4, 2003 with a fight against Melissa Shaffer. The fight took place at the Memphis' New Daisy Theatre and ended in Shaffer's favor. Out of her first three bouts, Dunaway won two and later on she claimed thirteen wins out of her fourteen professional fights. Dunaway also successfully defended her WIBA minimum weight championship title against Melissa Shaffer in a rematch that took place in Kansas City in February 2006. Her second minimum weight title defense took place in September 2006 when she went up against Dee Hamaguchi. Dunaway claimed her victory during her St. Louis debut. Also in the same year, she made it all the way to Budapest, Hungary to defeat Krisztina Belinzky to win two world titles. Dunaway's NABF Flyweight Championship title came to her on January 11, 2008 after she claimed a win over Sharon Gaines. In the same year, Dunaway took home IFBA Straw Weight World Title and IBA Straw Weight World title after her win over Wendy Rodriguez.

Following in the footsteps of his father, former heavyweight Oliver McCall, Elijah McCall is a renowned name in present day boxing scene in United States. To date, Elijah McCall has had fifteen professional bouts out of which he has managed to win eleven. McCall's first bout took place on June 21, 2008 when he went up against Darion Moss at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The match ended in McCall's favor, hence giving him his first ever professional bout win. At the coming Boxing at Meadows event, McCall will be trying his luck at claiming the GBU Americas Heavyweight Championship title.
