Two franchises in the Canadian Football League will face each other at the upcoming BC Lions versus Ottawa Renegades game. At their next fixture, the BC Lions will take on the Ottawa Renegades game. The Renegades, as they are called, are the youngest franchise in the CFL. Though originally formed in 2002, the franchise became inactive in 2006. In 2008, the franchise was awarded to Ottawa 67's owner Jeff Hunt and it is now set to play in the CFL once again as of the 2014 season. This game is therefore going to be one of the first for the franchise.

The Renegades home field is the Frank Clair Stadium and it is a member of the East Division of the CFL. Nicknamed the Gades, its official colors are black, white, red, tan and pewter.
